Amber can say that this is one of the best thing that happened to him, meeting Rio was unexpected, really. Parang noon lang na kick siya sa trabaho niya, na hire sa bagong company at nag ka crush sa boss niyang masungit.. now they’re here again, sitting outside the veranda sipping their tea and coffee. Just watching the silent sky while holding each others hand.

Their own kind of bonding.

Life can be emotionally abusive, a-abot talaga sa punto na parang gusto mo nalang sumuko at mawala, what’s the point of staying anyways?

Minsan kailangan mo lang din ng rason para tumuloy pa sa buhay.

Amber and Yuli was Rio’s reason to say. Sila ‘yung ilaw na nag paliwanag sa madilim niyang mundo, he experience the true happiness when he’s with them. May kaibigan siya, oo. pero iba parin yung saya na nararamdaman niya pag kasama sila Yuli. They’re making his heart jump from excitement, they’re making him feel alive. They saved him.

They’re making his life a bit bearable now.. he can finally say na he’s truly happy.

“I have a gift for you..” he softly said while looking at Amber, he’s really cute. he thought. Tumingin si Amber sa direksyon niya ng nag tataka.

“ha, ano ‘yun? Andami mo ng gift sa’kin ah..” he replied, Rio can’t help but to smile. “this one is special eh.” He also replied bago kinuha ang singsing na naka tago sa bulsa niya kanina pa.

Nakita niya kung paano nanlaki ang mata ni Amber “gago! Mag pro-propose ka naba?” gulat nitong saad kaya hindi niya maiwasang mapatawa, he slowly shake his hand bago kinuha ang palad ni Amber.

“No.. this is a promise ring.” He said bago unti unting sinout ang singsing sa daliri ng binata “I can’t marry you yet since I promised na we’re taking it slow.. that’s why take my promise ring with you, hm? Papalitan ko rin naman ‘yan pag kasal na tayo.” He softly uttered, Rio take the ring out of the box and slowly slid into Amber’s fingers.

“nakakatakot naman soutin ‘to, Cartier!” Amber jokingly said habang mahinang tumawa pero sa totoo lang ay naiiyak siya, pinipigilan niya lang talaga.

“you deserve it, you deserve anything in this world, Amber. You deserve me, marry me please?”

Amber bit his lip bago tumingin ng diretso sa mga mata ni Rio, hindi niya mai-paliwanag ang nararamdaman niya. His heart is so full and happy na parang sasabog siya. Unti-unti siyang tumango.

Of course, aayaw pa ba siya? Rio na ‘yan oh.

“I’ll wait for you.. hm? Let’s be the best version of ourselves and the best parents for yuli, then we’ll marry?”

“Sounds like a good plan to me. I love you, boss.”

They both laugh bago sinakop ni Rio ang kamay ni Amber, “You know that I love you, too. Can’t wait to spend my life time with you, Amber.”

Rio wipe the small tear from Amber’s face, hindi niya namalayang umiiyak na pala siya. He’s never been this happy before. They’re like a missing puzzle that perfectly fits for each other.

No more pain and heartbreaks, the two sealed their promised by kissing under the moonlight.
