Nasa open space na ang lahat ng bisita at pamilya ni Lian at Joaquin. Everyone is thrumming with excitement upon the most awaited reveal. Sa dami ng haka-haka at pustahang naganap, finally matutuldukan na ang lahat.
They were told that the way the twin's gender would be revealed is through a smoke bomb that will be ignited once they push the button after the countdown.
The couple let Renee do everything that she envisioned for the party but with one small favor included. Lian and Joaquin both wanted the genders to be revealed at the same time.
Ayaw nila na mahati ang reaction nila sa dalawa. Kung babae ang kambal then the two smoke bombs will be pink, kung lalaki blue at kung fraternal, pink at blue. It's that straightforward and easier to process.
So when the countdown started from the big led screen that was set up in the garden, everyone screamed. They counted the numbers loudly.
Nanlalamig na si Lian sa kaba at excitement, parang nabibingi na din siya ata sa lakas ng pagkabog ng puso niya.
Joaquin is no better because his palms are sweating like crazy. He is chanting in his mind the colors blue and pink and their connotation, trying to tell himself that he needs to process this fast. Bawala ang mag-lag.
"5,4,3,2,1!"
at the count of 1, the couple pushed the button and the smoke bomb immediately burst its colors on the sky, the fireworks shortly followed. There was also confetti raining over the guests and if that's not enough, the big led screen projected the colors and the word congratulations.
Lian's father was so delighted that he was able to lift Sevi off the ground. Walang nagawa si Sevi kung hindi magpakarga. Malas lang talaga niya at siya ang katabi ng Tito niya. Pero bahala na, sobrang saya din ni Sevi sa nalaman. Narinig niya din na sinabi ni Rain na ipagkakasundo niya ang anak sa sinapupunan sa isa sa anak nina Lian. Good luck na lang talaga kapag tinopak ang mga buntis at gawin nga nila.
On the other hand, Lian can't help but scream in excitement upon knowing the gender of the babies. When he looked at Joaquin for confirmation he saw him already crying tears of joy. Lian was quick to bury the older's head in his neck so he could cry peacefully. He was quick to whisper sweet nothings on the older's ear. Sobrang overwhelmed at saya nilang dalawa sa nalaman. After a short while, Joaquin murmured in Lian's neck.
"Lian, ang mga anak natin...I love them. I--, I'm so happy that I'm gonna burst."
Lian giggled and nodded his head at that. Kahit siya ay naiiyak na din, looking at the confetti on the ground makes it all feel real.
"I know, Love. I'm really feeling so blessed right now. Who wouldn't? We're having a boy and a girl."
