Doyoung realized he has been found.

Drip after drip, puddle after puddle. Doyoung walked under and on the rain water, wetting himself and his clothes in the process.

He left everything at his parents' house, immediately running away after a heated conversation he wishes to not talk about. Not even his phone was spared of a thought when he decided to rush out still in his work uniform. He just kept on walking, and walking with no destination in mind. He only realized it was raining when he felt his clothes stick onto his skin, shivering a little at the sudden lowering temperature.

Shit.

As if he was awoken, he felt all of his body; his hunger, exhaustion from the 9-hour shift and 2 hours of driving, tensed muscles, and the pang of guilt from the argument he only recognized now. Each bodily stimulus and emotion he had forgotten when he felt the need for nothing else but to run away. He tried checking on his phone to book a taxi and find the nearest hotel he can sleep at.

Great. He forgot his phone. He tried seeking for it in all his pockets again but to no avail, he really did left it

"You're so stupid, Doyoung." he whispered to himself, tightening his now shut eyelids at the frustration. He tried looking around to find where he had led himself to, realizing he's on a sidewalk of a bridge that leads to a fish market from what he remembers. He left his home unconscious, mind occupied with all the things he could have said to his parents to defend himself. Now he has to suffer being under the rain and not having anything to do but wait till it stops.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid." He echoed himself. The loud grumbling of his stomach only heightened the anger he directed towards himself.

Doyoung hugged himself as he couldn't to stop his body from shivering. He decided to continue walking, removing his shoes as the wetness of the socks gave him an icky uncomfortable feeling. Better be barefoot, he thought.

If he could reach the fish market, someone might possibly let him borrow their phone so he can call any of his colleagues or friends to fetch him. Only if they answer and if he remembers their numbers correctly, though. He sighed. Maybe it was wrong that he ran away mindlessly. He should've left the anger up until tomorrow. Atleast when that happens, he can excuse himself for work and maybe never comeback again. Atleast, he couldn't have left his wallet and phone.

He felt his stomach grumble again. He bit his lip, tightening the hug he granted himself and walked a little faster this time. Now fully aware of the honking of the cars, the wind, the sound of the rain kissing the cemented floors, the frogs, the crickets, the splashing of water, and the waves of the seas underneath. It was all too overwhelming but it sounded better than the yelling of his parents.

Suddenly a motorbike stopped a little further from where he stands. The driver honking it thrice before parking. Doyoung frowned but hopeful it's one of his friends that had found him. He hopes they would actually be kind enough to shelter him for the night.

The man hopped off his motorbike, removing his helmet. He was wearing a blue raincoat underneath, wavy brown locks peeking a little from the hood of his raincoat. It was So Junghwan. The light of the lighthouse by the coast casting directly on his face. The warm play of the light gave his face a golden glow.

"Doyoung-ssi!" Junghwan yelled, running a little because of the distance of from where he parked his motorbike and Doyoung. The golden glow leaving his form as he leads himself to join where Doyoung is.

Doyoung's lips quivered, threatening for a sob he didn't know was there. He tried holding back, opting for a smile to greet the man instead.

"Why are you here?" Junghwan said, hastily removing his raincoat and the cardigan he had on underneath. The rain quickly permeated his white shirt resulting to the material sticking to the expanse of his shoulders and arms. He is now fully soaked by the rain and the view looks too warm for Doyoung. He wanted to know how it would feel to rest his body in those shoulders. Junghwan helped Doyoung wear the cardigan. After successfully doing his little task, he raised both his arms up to shelter both Doyoung and himself with the blue raincoat.

"I'll send you home, Doyoung!" he shouted. Although they are merely inches away from eachother, the overwhelming sound of the rain left him with an impression that his voice would be muffled if he doesn't compete with it.

Doyoung smiled, dropping his shoes, leaning closer to hug Junghwan by the waist and feel the shoulders he was curious about. This feels nice, he thought. Closing his eyes and resting his left cheek on Junghwan's right shoulder. Junghwan still had his arms raised up, surprised at the contact, but he remained sheltering them both.

"I'm hungry, Junghwan." Doyoung said with closed eyes. Tightening the hug as if afraid Junghwan would leave.

"Let's take you home to my house? I cooked a lot for my little sister Nayun. It's her 12th birthday today."

"Is it?" Doyoung said, unmoving, cheeks still rested on the other's shoulders. Interest and warmth blooming inside his chest at the offer.

"Yes, I left her for awhile to buy something from the fish market and she is waiting." Junghwan smiled, carefully placing the raincoat on top of Doyoung's head, breaking from Doyoung's embrace to run towards his motorbike and drive backwards closer to where Doyoung is standing. Doyoung picked up his shoes and walked towards him, no longer shivering from the cold because of the warmth of the thick cardigan.

"Guess we'll head home empty-handed. Just tell her you took care of her when she was 4 and she'll be fine." Junghwan said, slipping on a helmet over Doyoung's head, chuckling a little at his own reasoning. Doyoung snorted, he has never met the kid.

He looked up at Junghwan. Amused at the fact that he has humored him. When he did so, he was met with the warmest of smiles he had ever seen.

The lighthouse once again casted its light to Junghwan.
